It was neer admitted that I had been allowed to make my own choice, but, after endless sunniness mornings spent vainly searching for either my mysteriously lacking(p) slip, Sunday tights, or church shoes that had been laid out the night before, the concession to my will was made. I became shamefully skilled at using my adolescence as a shield against having to face the consequences of my actions or decisions.!
